By Mountain Mule Hardwoods These artisan bar boards are made of American hardwoods. They are just the right size for small kitchen tasks, such as cutting fruit for a cocktail or serving a single cheese. Their size is approximately 6" x 8" x 0.75" thick. There's a leather strap across the corner for hanging and/or carrying. The edges of the board are rounded 1/4". NOTE: Handmade item may vary from what is pictured. From The Artisan: "Our boards are handcrafted in the USA, Tennessee in fact, and nothing about them is manufactured. Our cutting boards are butcher block, which means they are made of strips of wood glued together and will not warp or cup over time. We designed our boards with specific uses in mind, but they can all be used on both sides for most kitchen tasks. We love to cook and have a smaller kitchen ourselves, so most of our boards have handles and are meant to hang on the wall or from a pot rack. We use a mix of American hardwoods: cherry, maple, curly maple, ambrosia maple, walnut, red oak, white oak and ash. Slight variations and imperfections in the wood are natural and something we hope you will appreciate. Our boards are hand-sanded and hand-finished in our homemade board butter that we make from natural beeswax and food-safe mineral oil."
