This tree came from Mt Loafer canyon in Utah. The outer edges are jagged from the harsh conditions in the deep canyon where it was found. The tree was found previously fallen. The image itself is about 8 inches in diameter and printed on an 19x25.5" 80lb sheet of black paper. This unique print will look good in any home, cabin, or cottage. Also great for an original gift. Counting the rings on a cross-section of a tree trunk from the center pith to the outer bark will tell you how old the tree is. Each year, a tree grows a new ring. You can see where branches were located when the tree was younger by looking for v-shaped notches in the rings. Uneven rings may indicate when a tree had to bend in one direction to get the most sun.
